Job Description
As one of Canyon’s Email Marketing Managers, you will be a key member of our digital marketing team. You will lead the end-to-end execution, management, reporting and optimization of all consumer-facing email communications, as well as drive acquisition and retention initiatives.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Develop email campaigns that drive revenue growth through retention, cross-sell and up-sell
Drive email list growth strategies across multiple channels and serve as email acquisition authority across the organisation
Prioritize email marketing initiatives based on company strategy, revenue potential and resource allocation
Work with the product teams to create new launch strategies and tailored user journeys triggered by email
Design and execute testing strategies based on key hypotheses and deliver actionable learnings that contribute to both business and channel growth
Oversee audience segmentation strategies based on insights gathered across all channels (email, social, paid media, customers)
Manage the creation, production, scheduling and deployment of all email campaigns
Maintain integrity of subscriber database inline with GDPR guidelines
Effectively partner with cross-functional teams to drive successful campaign execution—including reporting/analysis/brand/business leaders/web development, etc.
Monitor and analyze email performance across segments and identify ways to improve KPIs
Proactively identify opportunities to improve production processes for increased efficiency
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
3+ years of email marketing experience (preferably with list sizes 250,000+)
2+ years coding emails, experience with modular responsive/fluid emails a plus
Experienced in ESP (email service provider) transitions
Experience with SalesForce Marketing Cloud (also SalesForce Service Cloud would be a bonus)
1+ years experience with personalization and dynamic content
Experience strategizing and executing comprehensive list segmentation, life cycle/drip automations and triggered events within an ESP
Experience with A/B and multivariate testing methodologies – especially in an ecommerce environment
Experience with web analytics (Google Analytics, Mixpanel or similar) and setting up UTM tracking
You have a customer-centric mindset and are constantly seeking ways to improve the customer experience
You’re a problem-solver with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated history of successful project management
Able to work in a fast paced, dynamic, high expectations environment
Understand how email data (code/html/tags) passes from email to browser to database
Direct response copywriting experience a plus
Proficient in Adobe Photoshop CC. Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, AfterEffects, and Sketch skills a plus
